TIP OF INSTRUMENT CABLE STUCK IN GUITAR.?
new guitar, new cable. i am so mad right now. how do i get it out? i have a feeling that you can't ... please tell me i'm wrong.

Let's see if I understand you correctly. The plug of the cable is stuck in the output jack. Is that correct? Any the plug broken off in the jack or is it just stuck?
If it has not broken, but is just stuck, that does happen sometimes. If the jack has a tight fit, the plug can get stuck. You remove it with brute force. be careful not to pull by the cable, but grab the plug itself and jerk it out.
If the plug has broken off in the jack, that is a little more complicated to fix. But not really all that hard. You have to remove the jack and push something through from the back side to force the broken plug out of the jack. If you are careful and lucky, you will not have to remove the jack.
How to remove the jack varies from model to model. Some guitars have the jack on the side (edge) of the guitar. In those cases, the jack is held on by small screws. Unscrew them to get the jack loose. If you have a Strat type guitar, the jack on top of the body in a football shaped cover, It is held in place by 2 screws. Unscrew those to get the jack loose. There are some Strat like guitars that have the jack within the pickguard. On those you have to unscrew the entire pickguard to get to the jack.
Which ever you have, it will not be hard to fix. Work slowly and be careful not to break the wiring loose and you can fix it.

Hello again. Since the plug fell through the jack into the body, it may have damaged the jack in doing so. After you get the plug out and the pickguard back on, you may have some problems. If the guitar has no sound the hot wire to the jack may have been knocked loose. If there is a buzz or distorted sound, the ground wire may have been knocked loose. Hopefully you will not need this additional information.
