Dean guitar: Vendetta XMT or EVO XM?
Hi, I am looking to buy my first electric guitar and I can't decide between the Dean Vendetta XMT or the Dean EVO XM? I want to know which one is better and why.
Mike, I have an acoustic guitar that i got with a starter pack. I have been playing for about half a year now and i've played on my friend's electric guitar. I want to get an electric guitar for myself.
I have been playing guitar for 14 years now. My suggestion actually is none of the above. You do not want to break 100 dollars on your first guitar just because if you lose interest in it you haven't really wasted that much money in comparison of the other equipment you can buy for guitar. If you are really serious with playing start with a player's pack with and acoustic guitar because the gauged strings will help build up finger strength and catalysts on your finger tips. When you feel like you have the ability to make the transition from acoustic to electric then go with a little more pricey guitar. I also suggest you get books on personal care for your guitar(s for future new instruments) Because it costs to much to have the music store fix it for you. And also learn to set up the guitar to feel comfortable to you. Most starter gutarist quit playing just because it hurts their fingers and you should nver have to fight the guitar to play it. Also invest in an electric tuner.
